I recently stumbled upon The Ridebook from Harley Davidson produced in collaboration with handful of guest curators: Relic, The Selvedge Yard, The Fader, Urbandaddy, Scot Toepfer, and a A Time To Get. The ridebook is made up of short films, music, photography, and short essays all of which speak to the profound impact this iconic brand has had on culture in America and abroad from 1900 up to present day.

“Lemonade: Detroit” is a film about the disarming resilience of a city that can no longer rely on a single industry for its livelihood, and the entrepreneurial strengths of those who are reinventing themselves and their communities.

Instead of sensationalizing blight, “Lemonade, Detroit” will sensationalize hope, told through the intensely personal stories of those who are turning the city into what it will become.

It’s been nearly four years since Amon Tobin has come out with a new album. Fortunately, in the case of Amon Tobin, his albums tend to get better and to grow more experimental with each new project regardless of the space in between them.

Isam, the first of three expected releases set for 2011, appears to be taking a powerful stab at a full audio/visual experience as well as an indescribable list of other interesting marketing tactics and design choices.

I just came across a really well done video shot for Supakitch and Koralie‘s mural project at the Världskultur Museet in Gothenburg, again, tonight, while doing some research and wanted to share. A video that manages to reveal a peek into an artists process without being pesky or overbearing, always manages to capture my attention; not to mention the music is pretty on point.

There’s nothing better than coming across new and unfamiliar music and a fantastic video to compliment it.

I was just as excited to find out that the video was directed by the extremely talented Young Replicant, who also did the “Lovely Bloodflow” video for Baths.
