I recently stumbled upon The Ridebook from Harley Davidson produced in collaboration with handful of guest curators: Relic, The Selvedge Yard, The Fader, Urbandaddy, Scot Toepfer, and a A Time To Get. The ridebook is made up of short films, music, photography, and short essays all of which speak to the profound impact this iconic brand has had on culture in America and abroad from 1900 up to present day.

It’s been nearly four years since Amon Tobin has come out with a new album. Fortunately, in the case of Amon Tobin, his albums tend to get better and to grow more experimental with each new project regardless of the space in between them.

Isam, the first of three expected releases set for 2011, appears to be taking a powerful stab at a full audio/visual experience as well as an indescribable list of other interesting marketing tactics and design choices.

In the midst of many other exciting projects, plans and collaborations, I’ve been working with Brooklyn rapper / DJ, Jasmine Solano on the design for her most recent release, “Turn It Up”. This is Jasmine’s second official release and is a precursor for an EP scheduled to drop sometime this summer.

There’s nothing better than coming across new and unfamiliar music and a fantastic video to compliment it.

I was just as excited to find out that the video was directed by the extremely talented Young Replicant, who also did the “Lovely Bloodflow” video for Baths.

Noisia – Split Atoms

I just came across a pretty solid album from Noisia today, packed full of violently aggressive drum samples and swells of destructive bass. If you’re looking for something to tear the veneer off the walls or to help you get through an overnighter, Split Atoms is the album.

The track above features Foreign Beggars, who is also worth a listen if you’re unfamiliar.
