Denver Community Museum

At the last Pecha-Kucha night Jaime Kopke presented her idea for a pop-up museum here in Denver where all of the exhibitions would consist of pieces generated by Denver locals. Each exhibition is themed and runs for approximately one month. The pop-up museum will move from spot to spot every month, never settling in one location. The body of work for each exhibition will be based around a new theme, and in an entirely new space… the museum itself will exist for less than one year. There are no fees for the public, all are welcome to submit work for upcoming exhibitions, and all are welcome to view the current exhibition… both are free.
During Pecha-Kucha night Jaime hadn’t settled on a location, but had the first theme pinned down “The Missing Map”… and recently put a website revealing the location of the first exhibit along with other details around the Denver Community Museum.
