Glen E Friedman

December 21st, 2010

Glen E. Friedman became one of the most important photographers of his generation, shooting skateboarders and musicians throughout the 1980s. During that period of time, Glen captured stills of some of the most iconic figures in the early counter culture movement in the United States. Doing so, almost entirely through the happenstance of association. Today, his photographs are celebrated as capturing the raw energy, ambition and rebellious nature of a generation lost to commercialization and popular culture.

The short above, documents his work for, “Fuck You All,” showing at 941Geary, here in San Francisco. Fuck You All will be showing until December 30th.

I’m sort of pissed that I missed the opening.
