Horizakura

This weekend I had the honor of going with my friend here in Tokyo to get his back piece finished after many many years of sessions and also separation from his artist. Horizakura, or Shinji as he is known to my friend, started his solo craft about 13 years ago after a rigorous apprenticeship under the guidance of renowned Horitoshi. His first full back piece was this one on my friend, and since then he has gone on to do other amazing works, some of those years being at NY Adorned studio in Brooklyn. He also made an appearance on Miami Ink a while back (YouTube part 1 and part 2).
