Lifter Baron’s Sunday Best

September 28th, 2008

So I thought I would try something a little different today. Instead of posting one or two long and probably under informative entries, I will do only one big post highlighting a list of things that caught my eye this morning. Thus, leaving the information seeking portion to you and letting the viewers decide what content is exciting. So take a second, look through the content and search your little hearts out. Enjoy.

Crush Bible
A book cover can really change your opinion on the reading material. Crush Agency, out of the UK, makes me think twice about diving into a book of such controversial proportions through a simple but effective cover redesign. Via FormFiftyFive

The Apartment NYC
The Apartment, an interior design group out of NYC, converted an old YMCA into a nasty (good nasty) 5 bedroom apartment building. Pretty rad. Via DesignYouTrust

Diplo X Radiohead
Radiohead takes another “new age” step in marketing and releases all of the instrumental elements from the track, Reckoner, to the public. Diplo does official remix to launch the effort. Fans and musicians get to pitch in and make their own remixes. Via Booooooom!

Radical Cartography
An interesting look into some of the statistics and American demographic research compiled by Bill. Great content, sexy site. Via ffffound

Terry Richardson X Barack Obama
Terry Richardson knows how to take a good flick or two. Here is what happens when you out him in a room with Barack Obama and put a Vibe budget behind it. Old news, but still pretty refreshing. Via Hypebeast

That Diplo remix is amazing… drums of death! Vibe article with Obama was a nice Sunday pick me up as well… how rad would it be to have a president who actually has some of the same music on his ipod as us!!!

Loving Sundays Best… looking forward to next week already! Thanks Lifter!
