There is something familiar yet refreshing about Matthew Lyons work… I’m really digging the resurgence of the hand crafted fuzzed out feel that seems to be working it’s way through a lot of art & design being pushed out these days. It’s rad to see the textures and character reworked and reinterpreted with modern day technology/techniques. Matthew’s work is an exemplary of what I’m trying to touch on… each piece is stylized, unique, and suggestive… using no more than is needed to get across the point… streamlining each piece letting the personality and emotion shine through.
