I’ve been slackin’ on getting books lately so I figured in celebration of slackin’ on other stuff, I’d go out and at least grab some of those books on my list. The first book is Tattoo Art & Design, which is honestly, hardly in relation to tattoo artists or designers. The great thing about the book is not only the outstanding illustration that fills every page, but the long list of Victionary supported artists and designers. Some of these peeps include our good friends, inspirers and illustrative masterminds, i.e. EightHourDay, 123KLAN, Rolitoland, Rinzen, Superdeux, Pulco Mayo, Simon Oxley and a ton more. The second book is something of a jewel. Steve Powers. ESPO. That’s all I should really have to say. More than 100 pages of Powers amazing type work coupled with his hand painted illustration style. Pretty rad.
