If you ever run across this book… snag that shit! I came across a copy at the DPL a few weeks back, read it and loved it. It’s a compilation of objective essays on various design related topics put together by design author and critic Rick Poynor. All of the essays are quick and to the point… the author does a nice job of putting the subject into context and then firing off.

I didn’t agree with all of the opinions presented within, but the book definitely offered new lenses to view the world through. Especially as it relates to our roles and responsibilities as creative professionals, the impact we have on our society, culture, and every day state of being.
