Recap: Burlesque Surprise Party

March 31st, 2008 designisfine

Saturday night we embarked on our scheduled adventure to the location of the First Amendment space. Upon arrival we discovered a system of hallways that led us to the basement destination housing the festivities. We then entered a room filled with hep cats and youngsters up to the expected artistic shenanigans. All subdued by the artsmanship that covered the walls like a membrane of creativity. We made way to the common watering hole to discover, in all delight, PBR and various forms of screen-printed paraphernalia. Seeing so many glorious pieces of artwork kept, even us, mesmerized. We put our eyes on a few for the taking but unfortunately left our bank notes at our residence. After we soaked in the culture and near companionship that we could, we made way. As an unfortunate circumstance of our bewilderment, we failed to talk to a few familiar faces (I hope to catch you at the Art Crank Show show this Saturday). We then pushed forth towards our cozy confines, thus concluding our exciting evening journey to and through the Burlesque Surprise party. Many thanks to the following cats and kittens for showing your work and being involved, my apologies if I missed a few. Aaron Horkey, George Thompson, Todd Bratrud, Mike Davis, Wes Winship, Lonny Unitus and Amy Jo Hendrickson
