Ryan Browning

November 19th, 2010

Ryan Browning shares his exquisite portrayal of the violent and chaotic arrival of new water way land mass in his oil-on-canvas piece, “Birth of an Island”. Likely this island would be hard to construct a shelter on or find game worth hunting to survive, yet, for some reason, I would love nothing more than to spend an weekend braving its perilous geometry.

Find more nature vs geometry in the whimsical collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures that is Ryan’s site.
